“Hannibal is the Best Drama on Television”

In my personal hall of fame, Hannibal is right up there with the likes of The Wire and The Sopranos.

Brian Tallerico for rogerebert.com:

“On every level, Bryan Fuller and the team behind “Hannibal” are elevating what we should expect from network television.

Books could be written on how the show explores its themes not through traditional crime drama mysteries of the week but through character, and there’s simply no program, cable included, that uses visual language more confidently and engagingly.”

In my personal hall of fame, Hannibal is right up there with the likes of The Wire and The Sopranos. Brian Tallerico seems to agree, and he does a better job of articulating that opinion than any of the reviews I’ve read so far.

The first episode of season 3 aired last week. If you haven’t seen the first two seasons yet, you’re really missing out.
